Homelessness support

A more stable place to begin again

When accommodation is uncertain, planning everyday life can become difficult. A safe place to stay can create room to rest, reconnect and consider the next step.

ASH Foundation plans to support people who are experiencing homelessness or are at serious risk of homelessness.

Our proposed work focuses on practical barriers to suitable housing and the help needed to settle and stay connected with support.

The help we are working towards

We intend to assess needs, connect people with suitable organisations and consider practical assistance that fits an agreed housing plan.

This may include help with essential settlement needs or referrals to tenancy, financial and community services, subject to available resources and individual assessment.

People experiencing homelessness will not need to have disability to be considered under this proposed pathway.

Decisions will be based on need and the Foundation’s capacity to help, with clear information about what can and cannot be offered.
