Giving with clear information

Once giving opens, general donations support the Foundation’s charitable purposes, including programme work and the people, safeguards and administration needed to deliver it.

A restricted appeal will explain its intended use and conditions before payment.

If a restricted appeal cannot proceed as described or raises more than required, we will follow its published terms and applicable law, including obtaining consent or taking other appropriate steps where required.

Donation amounts are in Australian dollars.

Please check whether you are giving once or monthly.

A monthly gift continues at the amount and frequency you authorise until cancelled or otherwise ended under the agreed terms.

Recurring giving is an explicit choice.

Payments are processed through the Foundation’s approved provider.

A completed payment will generate an appropriate receipt or acknowledgement.

We will not describe a gift as tax-deductible unless the applicable endorsement and gift requirements are satisfied for that transaction.

Tickets, purchases and sponsorship benefits may have different tax treatment.

The management page will confirm when the provider has accepted cancellation, its effective date and whether a further charge is scheduled.

A payment already completed is assessed separately under the refund process.

Contact us promptly with your receipt reference and a brief explanation.

Do not send full card numbers, security codes or passwords.

We will investigate under the adopted policy, payment-provider rules and applicable law. Approved refunds will normally use the original payment method.

Marketing consent is optional and separate from receipts.

Donor details remain private unless disclosure is required for the transaction, reporting or law, or you separately agree to recognition.

Unsubscribing from updates does not cancel a monthly gift.
