ASH Foundation

Governance and transparency

A caring purpose needs careful decisions.

Trust begins with a clear picture of who we are, what we plan to do and where we are in the process.

ASH Foundation is being established in Western Australia. Our governing documents, appointments, registrations and launch arrangements are being prepared and verified.

Our proposed founding board

Five family members have been nominated for the following roles. Appointments remain subject to consent, eligibility and the required formal process.

  • Eby Mathew

Proposed President, Board Chair and Director

Eby would lead board meetings and help the board maintain its focus on the Foundation’s charitable purpose and responsibilities.

  • Mary Ninan

Proposed Vice President, Deputy Chair and Director

Mary would support the Chair and contribute to the board’s collective oversight and decision-making.

  • Daisy Mary Rajan

    Proposed Secretary and Director

Daisy would support proper records, meeting administration and governance processes, subject to the company secretary role’s eligibility requirements.

  • Rajan Ninan

    Proposed Treasurer and Director

Rajan would support financial oversight, budgets and clear reporting within board-approved controls and shared payment authorisation.

  • Edayakattu Abraham Mathukutty

    Proposed Board Member and Director

Edayakattu would contribute to board decisions, oversight of planned work and accountability for the use of the Foundation’s resources.

The standards we are preparing to adopt

Public charitable purpose

Resources will be directed to the Foundation’s approved purposes and assessed community needs.

Financial responsibility

Planned controls include approved budgets, two eligible payment authorisers, reliable records and regular financial review.

Conflict management

Directors will disclose personal, family and business interests. Materially conflicted directors must step out of relevant decisions. Where too few eligible directors remain, the decision must wait for a lawful resolution.

Respect for people

Programme development includes privacy, accessible information, safeguarding, complaints and fair assessment.

Honest reporting

We intend to publish verified registration details, adopted public documents and appropriate financial and activity reporting as these become available.

Related businesses

Any proposed arrangement with a business connected to a director or family member will require assessment, conflict management and lawful approval.

The Foundation will report its own charitable work separately from related businesses.

Public documents

Approved public documents will appear here as they become available.
